Frequently Asked Questions!

  • Do you do try ons?

Yes! Fittings occur Monday - Friday at our Matamata based studio. You can book a fitting in by clicking the 'Book a Fitting' option in the website main menu or through Instagram. 

  • Do you do postal try ons?

Yes! Postal try ons can be booked through Shawna directly and become available every Thursday. To book either email Shawna on courtneysclosetx@gmail.com or message through Instagram to Courtneysclosetx.

  • What days do I select?

Please book for the day you are wanting to wear the garment. The delivery and return is based off this. Normally you will receive your rental a minimum two days before your booked date to ensure you have plenty of time to check the dress fits. If you need the dress by a Friday for example as you are taking the dress away with you, feel free to write this in the booking notes. If you need an extended rental please contact Shawna directly as this can be done manually. 

  • The website it not letting me book

Contact Shawna directly and she will be able to assist you or book your rental manually. 

  • What happens if my event gets cancelled as a result of COVID19?

The rental amount will be transferred into a store credit which can be used on any garment at any given time. The rental amount does not expire. 

  • What happens if the garment arrives and does not fit?

Courtney's Closet takes no reasonably for a garment not fitting and will not refund the rental. Although if there is enough time a replacement dress can be sent but a postal cost will incur. Or you can use the new Back-Up dress option to avoid this risk. 

  • On the next business day, where do I drop off my rental to be returned?

If the dress is on a postal order please hand the garment over the counter at your local post shop inside the pre paid postal bag (please NO post drop boxes in the street or at the super market as these are not emptied everyday and will delay the return). If your garment is a local return please place inside the drop box. 

  • Do I wash my rental before returning it?

NO. Dry cleaning Is included in the rental price. Please do not wash any garments as this can damage them as most require specific cleaning methods.
